Freedom Connect – Bluetooth & D-Fi Control Hub

Flexible DMX control via app and network

The Freedom Connect is a compact control hub for Freedom devices as well as wired and wireless DMX lighting systems. As a Bluetooth and D-Fi transceiver, it enables convenient control of scenes and effects via the ConnectFX app on iOS and Android devices. Thanks to its support for DMX512, sACN, D-Fi and Art-Net, the device can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of lighting control and network environments.

DMX signals can be fed in and out directly via the integrated 3-pin XLR sockets, whilst the RJ45 socket enables connection to Art-Net and network structures. This makes the Freedom Connect suitable for both mobile applications and permanently installed lighting systems.

Versatile connectivity in a compact format

In addition to wireless control, the Freedom Connect offers a web-based user interface for configuration and carrying out firmware updates. Power is supplied via USB-C at 5 V DC and 2 A. With a maximum range of up to 120 metres in unobstructed conditions, an RF output power of 18 dBm and a frequency range of 2.4 to 2.48 GHz, reliable signal transmission is guaranteed.

The compact housing measures just 130.5 x 106.5 x 52 mm and weighs only 249 g. An integrated M10 mounting hole facilitates installation in a variety of application environments. CE, FCC and UKCA certifications round off the Freedom Connect ’s professional features.
