Connect your MP3 or CD player to the Nord Grand's rear panel monitor input to play previously recorded music, rehearse, or jam without an external mixer or sound system. The signal is also routed to the main outputs.

The balanced and responsive triple-sensor keyboard features an advanced mechanism that provides exceptional control for both percussive playing and pianissimo with smooth repetitions and post-triggering without fully lifting the key. The addition of an ivory touch surface gives the keyboard optimal authenticity.
Factory bank
The Nord Grand Factory bank includes 10 grand pianos, 9 upright pianos, 10 enhanced Electric pianos, clavinet, digital pianos and more from the exclusive Nord Piano Library. All sounds can be easily exchanged using the Nord Sound Manager.
Sample Synth Section
The Sample Synth Section offers a wide selection of strings, horns, synths, choirs and many other high-quality sounds from the Nord Sample Library 3.0. The extensive selection of sounds includes the exclusively licensed sounds of the legendary Mellotron and Chamberlin. All sounds can be quickly exchanged using the Nord Sound Manager.
Effect Section
The Effect Section features a wide selection of instantly changeable, high-quality stereo effects modeled after classic stomp boxes. All effects can be freely assigned to the Piano or Sample Synth section.
