Iconic Pitch Shifter and Harmonizer for Electric Bass

With the Digitech Bass Whammy, the effect specialists bring you a version of their iconic Whammy effect tailored to the E-Bass. With flexible options for shifting pitch and adding different intervals, the Bass Whammy opens the door to new and inspiring Bass sounds.

Monophonic and Polyphonic Tracking

In Classic mode, the Bass Whammy works with the time-honored Whammy algorithm and classic monophonic tracking, which only follows individually played notes. The modern Chord mode, on the other hand, works polyphonically, so that chords are also captured by the effect.

Whammy, Harmony and Detune

The ten Whammy settings of Bass Whammy shift the pitch of the played note and several intervals up and down, making bass lines particularly expressive. The Harmony presets, on the other hand, generate different pitches to the played note, and chorus effects to create the illusion of two instruments playing simultaneously. In addition, Digitech's Bass Whammy offers a Detune effect that simulates the detuning of the instrument. All effects are controlled by the built-in expression pedal.
