With the Dingwall Combustion 4 2PU PF Vintageburst the Canadian company sends a 4-string E-Bass in the typical multiscale design into the race. Finished in timeless VintageBurst , the four-string comes with an elegant quilt top, a swamp ash body and a four-bolt medium Thin C maple neck. Individual scales for each string, rising from 34" on the G to 36.25" on the E, also guarantee an extremely tight sound with precise tone even at low tunings. Two neodymium-reinforced Dingwall FD-3N pickups, which a rotary switch calls up in different combinations, and an active EMG 3-band tone control promise furthermore extremely flexible sounds for almost every genre. The Dingwall Combustion 4 naturally comes in a modern multiscale construction, the unmistakable characteristic of the Canadian company. Each string of the 4-string Bass has an optimally tuned length, from 34" (864 mm) at the G to 36.25" (921 mm) at the low E, so that a precise and tight sound is guaranteed. Furthermore, Dingwall relies on a swamp ash body with a chic cloud maple top, which has an optimal balance on the strap as well as on the thigh, and a bolt-on three-piece maple neck, whose slim medium-thin C profile lets every groove come out of the fingers with ease.
Three pickups and active EQ for multi-faceted bass sounds.
At the bass amp, the Combustion 4 2PU PF Vintageburst turns out to be a true all-rounder, which is not alien to any musical genre. The neodymium magnet Dingwall FD-3N pickups promise smooth bass sounds with just the right amount of aggression. A 4-way rotary switch calls up the two pickups in different combinations, so that the four-stringer comes up with classic and modern tones. Last but not least, EMG's active 3-band tone control allows you to tune your personal bass sound.

A high-quality hardware equipment perfectly matched to the E-Bass completes the Combustion 4 2PU PF Vintageburst bass guitar. Four Dingwall Single-Bridges on the body guarantee an optimal adjustment of intonation and height of each string. On the compact headstock, the strings are also guided with a straight pull to the Hipshot Ultralite tuners, which not only guarantee an exact and stable Tuning, but also prevent unwanted neck dive due to their low weight.
