Doepfer A-138o Performance Mixer Output
The Doepfer A-138ov is the output module in the vintage edition of the Performance Mixer System for Modular Systhesizer, sums up all connected input modules and their channels, controls the output volume as well as separately the levels of the aux send and the aux return.
The A-138pv and A138ov modules together represent a simple performance mixer that is used instead of an external mixer. The A-138pv module is the input module with four channels, while the A-138ov is the output module, which with one or more A-138pv's becomes a mixer with four, eight, twelve etc... inputs can be combined.
No matter how many A-138pv input modules are connected, the A-138ov Performance Mixer Output adds them all to a stereo sum output at left and right jacks.
All signals of the channel aux paths are summed and sent to the effect unit via the aux send socket. The aux send level is adjustable. The signal output from the effect unit is connected to the Aux-Return mono jack, which closes the circuit and allows the effects to be mixed to the signals in the controlled section. The aux return level can also be adjusted with a potentiometer.
