The analog Bass Drum 2 module from Erica Synths makes no secret of its sonic proximity to the TR-909 Kick and convinces with a massive, powerful sound. Developed in collaboration with the French company e-licktronic (Yocto, Nava), version 2 has been improved in several details compared to its predecessor and now features a gate mode as an alternative to the usual trigger input. The Gate-Mode adapts to the length of the incoming gate signal and thus creates unconventional, dynamic Bass Drum patterns. In addition, a noise output has been implemented that provides the noise of the attack phase as its own sound source. Of course, the Drive parameter is included again, making this Bass Drum module ideal for heavy industrial sounds and bunker techno. Control voltage inputs for pitch, Decay and Drive allow for textbook drum sounds.
