The Black VCO2 from Erica Synths is an analog oscillator with a rich basic sound and precise tracking over eight octaves. Highlight of this tone generator is the Saw Shaper, which generates a "small" supersaw up to three times. This is manually adjustable and can be animated via CV or with the internal modulator. In addition to the sawtooth (supersaw) there are sine, triangle, square (with PWM) and a suboscillator. The latter works one octave below the other waveforms. Hardsync and CV inputs for FM (lin/exp) and waveform animation round out the features. With the separately available Black VCO Expander the sound palette of the Erica Synths Black VCO2 can be expanded considerably.
