The ESX-8CV Mk2 from Expert Sleepers is an expander for the separately available ES-4, ES-40 and ES-5 modules with eight control voltage outputs. Together with one of the main modules and the Silent Way or MAX/MSP software, the ESX-8CV Mk2 is able to output control voltages to eight ports in parallel. When the DAW interface is operated at 48 KHz, the ESX-8CV Mk2 outputs run at 16 KHz to 2 KHz, which is sufficient for most CV applications. Since the signals for the module are obtained from the audio signal of the audio interface via the main module, there is enough space between the "audio information" for sample-accurate output of the control voltages.
