Expert Sleepers USAMO

Expert Sleepers USAMO (Universal Sample-Accurate MIDI Output) provides sample-accurate and jitter-free MIDI output from the DAW. The MIDI signal is generated by the USAMO software, which must be installed as a virtual instrument (AU/VST/AAX, Mac & Windows) on the computer. Besides MIDI notes and controller data, the USAMO plug-in transmits MIDI clock, Song Position Pointer, SysEx and much more.

How the Expert Sleeper USAMO works

The combination of USAMO hardware and software creates sample-accurate and jitter-free MIDI outputs. The DAW sends MIDI to the USAMO PlugIn, which translates this information into an audio track that is sent to the USAMO hardware via the computer's audio interface. The hardware is able to convert the audio signals back into MIDI and outputs them to a standard 5-pin DIN MIDI connector. The advantage of this procedure is that audio signals are processed by the computer faster and more accurately than MIDI signals.
