It American Standard Stratocaster has been in the Fender programme continuously since 1984 and has developed into a long runner ever since. The Fender US production horse with three Custom Shop Fat '50s Single coils is designed for professional use and convinces with a modern 2-point Tremolo and classic neck measurement in the Modern -'C' profile.
The body Fender American Standard Stratocaster is made of alder. The maple neck is connected to the body by a screw connection, which Leo Fender introduced in the 1950s as the first in electric guitar making. The fingerboard consists of Palisander and carries 22 frets in Medium Jumbo format.
The American Standard Strat three Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s single coils equipped with Alnico 5 magnets are used as pickups. This Set delivers the fat sound of the fifties with classic Wiring and an improved bass response with the clarity typical of Single coils, without sounding too harsh. Especially the middle position evokes crisp funk sounds, while the intermediate positions are predestined for sparkling cleans.
