The Gamechanger Audio Plasma Pedal uses a revolutionary method of sound generation; a xenon-filled gas discharge tube is used in this compact effect pedal instead of the usual tubes, diodes or transistors. The guitar signal visibly produces breath-taking flashes of up to 3.5kV power, these are transformed back into an audio signal, so that the guitar amplifier provides rich distortion and fuzz sounds with incredibly rich overtones and lively response. The Voltage control determines the voltage of the gas discharge tube and thus the sustain and response of the circuit. The Blend potentiometer continuously mixes the clean signal with the effect signal, while the 2-band tone control, consisting of High Freq and Low Freq controls, allows precise tuning of the sound.
