The Markbass Longevo Series Strings are the result of the tradition of Italian string art and state-of-the-art technology. Handmade in Abruzzo, Italy, the strings feature an ultra-thin nano-film coating that gives the strings extra protection against corrosion and wear without altering the feel. As the NPS version of the Longevo Series, the set uses nickel-plated steel to give the sound a more warm and full character.
