20 Watt or 5 Watt

Depending on the area of use, the high and low modes of the standby switch offer different power gradations. For bedroom shredders and recording purposes, the power amp is restricted to 5 watts in Low mode, limiting the dynamic range but allowing the power amp to be cranked up further to achieve classically rich Marshall sounds. In the 20-watt High mode, on the other hand, the Studio Vintage is quite capable of providing adequate sound for rehearsals and small gigs.

10" Celestion V-Type
