Neutrik SCNO-FDW-A Sealing cap

Even small particles of dirt can strongly influence the data transmission of a fiber optic cable or even prevent it completely. To ensure continued reliable signal transmission, opticalCON chassis connectors must be covered when not in use.

In order to completely prevent the penetration of interfering factors, the Neutrik SCNO-FDW-A sealing cap made of metal encloses the complete interior of the socket. So dirt and water have no chance to reduce the performance or even destroy it completely. In order to keep the interior of the sealing cap clean even when a plug is in the socket, the two protective caps can simply be inserted into each other. This makes contamination impossible in any condition. Also suitable for heavy touring use.
