With the Orange Fur Coat, the traditional British company sends a classic Octave Fuzz effect pedal for electric guitar into the race, which delivers the perfect sounds for psychedelic solos and dirty rock'n'roll. Thanks to separate footswitches, the Fuzz and Octave Up effects can be used separately or together so that together with the surprisingly flexible setting options, a wide range of sounds is available.

Classic Vintage Fuzz

At the heart of the Orange Fur Coat is a classic vintage fuzz in analog circuitry that can be used in front of either a clean or an already distorting amp to add that coveted "fur" to the sound. While the Fuzz knob determines the intensity of the hairy Distortion, the flexible EQ control can be used to emphasize either the low or high-frequency ranges of the sound. In addition, the Fur Coat Fuzz interacts excellently with the electric guitar's pickups and volume control, so that there are no limits to the expressive sound design.

Octave-Up

In addition, the Fur Coat pedal from Orange adds an octave above the note you're playing to significantly increase the guitar's sparkle. While the Octave knob controls the volume of the added note, the Octaver can be turned on and off separately via its own footswitch.
