Remo ENCORE CS Ambassador 14" coated; Snare Batter

The Remo ENCORE CS Ambassador 14" is a low-cost snare head with white coating and reverse dot. CS stands for "Controlled Sound": Remo's Controlled Sound heads combine 2 sound characteristics in one head. The outer area provides sound and sensitivity of a medium head, the reverse dot eliminates unwanted overtones, produces a "controlled sound" and provides additional durability.

Remo ENCORE

The Remo Encore heads are the price-performance star from Remo's head range. The heads are manufactured in the Taiwanese Remo factory according to the design of their American siblings. A difference is made when attaching the Mylar film to the aluminum ring:
Instead of connecting the two with liquid glue, the striking surface is pressed into the aluminum ring together with a steel core and thus firmly joined together.
