With the Sandberg California TM4 Roasted Neck MN Tobacco Sunburst Black hardware, the bass manufactory from Brunswick presents a traditionally built E-Bass with alder body and six-piece bolted neck made of Roasted Maple. With pickups from Delano and an active 2-band tone control, the four-string also delivers a versatile sound spectrum with a clearly perceptible vintage note, while indestructible SandbergHardware completes the bass guitar's features.
Construction with proven woods
With the construction of the California TM4 Roasted Neck MN Tobacco Sunburst, Sandberg follows the classic specifications and manufactures the body from alder. The six-bolt neck, on the other hand, is made of roastedmaple, thermally treated maple that loses much of its residual moisture by being "roasted" in a vacuum, which not only makes it particularly stable, but also supports the four-stringer's crisp sound and uniform Sustain. The slim "C" neck profile also ensures a high level of playing comfort, which allows every groove to come out of the fingers without fatigue, even after hours of playing E-Bass.
Delano pickups for versatile sounds
The electric tone conversion of the California TM4 Roasted Neck bass guitar is handled by Delano pickups, which give the four-stringer a wide sound spectrum with unmistakable vintage nuances. The Delano MCFE M-style humbucker installed at the bridge convinces with its assertive power sound, which makes every note noticeable in the pit of the stomach. In the middle position, on the other hand, the Delano JMVC T-style single-coil pickup delivers a warm low end with a pleasant old-school feel. The sound spectrum is also expanded by the split switch, which can be used to elicit authentic single-coil sounds from the humbucker. The active 2-band tone control also allows the precise adjustment of the sound character.

The bridge is the Sandberg Bridge 4, whose solid construction supports the balanced sound of the bass guitar. Thanks to the three-dimensionally adjustable tailpieces, perfect adjustment of intonation, string action and string spacing is also guaranteed. Behind the zero fret and nut, lightweight Sandberg Machine Heads at the headstock of the E-Bass ensure precise and consistent tuning of the bass.
