Professionally designed work equipment

Amphion's passive monitors enjoy an excellent reputation in the professional world and excel in their ability to make the weaknesses and flaws of a mix directly audible. The loudspeakers are no pleasure boxes, but professionally designed working devices, which play clearly above their price class.

Optimal speaker operation

For optimal speaker operation, Amphion's own AMP700 stereo power amplifier is recommended, but you can also connect the speakers to any other high-quality power amplifier of your taste. In any case, make sure to use high-quality cables, which Amphion also has in its program!

Closed design for optimum phase fidelity.

The Amphion One 15 high-end 2-way passive nearfield monitor from Finnish manufacturer Amphion features a 5¼" woofer, a high-performance titanium tweeter, a high-density Corian waveguide and a sealed enclosure with a passive rear acoustic diaphragm. The One 15 is a very natural-sounding monitor that provides transparent and pristine sound reproduction due to its linear frequency response and high impulse response, and is ideal for objective assessment of audio material eg. during mastering or post-production. It is characterized in particular by the fact that it does not excite the monitoring room to oscillate. This is due to the high phase fidelity of the closed housing and the very narrow dispersion angle. Compared to the One 18 or Two 18, the One 15 has a shortened low-frequency range, so it is best used in combination with a pair of main monitors as a secondary monitor.
