The Artiphon Orba is a combination of Mini-Synthesizer, Looper and MIDI Controller. This handy Device is in minimalist design and has 8x Sensitive Touch-Pads on the smooth surface that process Velocity, Vibrato and Pressure. Motion and Tilt Sensors inside evaluate various actions such as Shaking, Rubbing or Panning and transmit this to the internal sound generation or as a Controller value to a DAW. A Vibration Motor gives direct feedback about different situations; comparable to a Shock Controller used with Game Consoles.

The Orba App makes it easy to Manage and Arrange Songs, Loops and Pre-Sets. As a Digital Mini-Synthesiser, Orba generates all sounds with a maximum of 10x Voices using Subtractive and Physical Modelling Synthesis. These are distributed across the 4x Tracks of the Built-In Loop Player. Thanks to Bluetooth MIDI and USB-C Port, Artiphon Orba connects to most Laptops and can thus be integrated into the DAW. Literally changing Multiple Effect parameters in Ableton at the same time, for example, is a simple operation. Orba combines very sensitive Gesture Control and a performance-oriented way of working in one package. Spontaneously making Music with friends or contributing a part to a Production, a spontaneous idea can be worked out on the spot.
