Mongoose by Boz Digital Labs is a practical tool for reducing the stereo width in the bass range. Since locating low frequencies often proves to be a big problem and one wonders at the latest when listening through headphones where suddenly various bass parts on the left or right side can be heard, Mongoose provides a safe method that ensures a more defined, tight bass. The user can determine the threshold value via crossover control, below whose mongoose the signal is converted to mono. However, the Width slider also allows fine adjustments if the stereo effect is to be attenuated only slightly. An extremely useful and easy to use feature, which - if you are honest - should be integrated in every master bus!
