Bogner Ecstasy Red Mini

The Bogner Ecstasy Red Mini is based on the red channel of the legendary Bogner Ecstasy head and delivers proper amp distortion for aggressive rock and metal sounds. The 3-level gain switch determines the gain structure of the distortion and the 3x option pre-EQ switch specifies the basic sound character before it is distorted. The Bogner Ecstasy Red Mini also has a 3-band tone control and a semi-parametric Mid EQ knob, the frequency range of which can be adjusted via a separate pot under the pedal. Rounding things off nicely is the Variac switch which starves the pedal of voltage, simulating the sound of a dying battery, compressing the signal for wild spluttery distortion.
