The Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal has already made its way onto many pedalboards around the world. Not for nothing, as it offers the legendary gritty rock sound in a compact and robust housing. The level control determines the amount of effect in the signal, while Distortion and Tone are responsible for the distortion level and sound colouration. In keeping with the classic Boss pedal design, the DS-1 Distortion can be powered either by a 9V battery or an optionally available mains adapter.
