Critter & Guitari 5 Moons

The 5 Moons from Critter & Guitari is a 5-track multitrack Looper / recorder in a discreet wooden housing. The practical device combines minimalism with a focus on recording and playback, while not disregarding the ease of use and sparing the user complex shift function, which benefits the creative use of 5 Moons. Since there is only one 3.5 mm mono jack for audio recording and playback, the five tracks of the 5 Moon can only be recorded one after the other. The output, on the other hand, is done with all tracks in parallel. Each track can be played back either as a OneShot or in an endless loop, the loop point corresponds to the actual length of the audio file. If it gets tight with the tracks during the livejam you can use a "Bounce Down", which saves all tracks on channel 1 to a new file and frees up channels 2-5. This process can be repeated as often as you like until you have recorded enough elements for the perfect loop. The audio quality is at studio quality 16 bit / 48 kHz. The Disk Mode allows data exchange between 5 Moons and a computer. Expand your sample archive bit by bit and save Loops created with the DAW on the device, which serve as the basis for the next session.
