DW Performance Shell-Set Rock Cherry Stain Laquer

The DW Performance Shell-Set Rock is a five-piece shell set made of North American maple with a Cherry Stain finish. The eight-ply shells are glued together using DW's proprietary HVX construction for a deep fundamental tone with powerful projection. Remo-made heads are held in place by triple-flanged steel hoops on the 45° bearing edges, which vary in thickness depending on tom size. On the 10" tom the hoops are 1.6 mm thick, while on the rest of the toms 2.3 mm hoops are used. To ensure that the two suspended toms can unfold their sound in the best possible way, they are held in a free-swinging position by DW's Suspension Tom Mounts. For the 16" floor tom three 21" long Heavy Duty Floor Tom legs take over this task.
