In bridge position, the Seymour Duncan '59/Custom Hybrid Alnico-V humbucker promises a coherent metal sound with a perfect balance of tight bass foundation, enormous midrange presence and silky treble sparkle, presenting every note with sharp contour and rich punch even at drop tunings and high gain. The harmonic counterpart to the powerful bridge pickup is the Seymour Duncan Jazz humbucker in neck position, whose emphatically brilliant, yet full sound is best suited for clean Pickings and singing solo playing. The pickup of the electric guitar is controlled straightforwardly by means of a 3-way switch, master volume and a treble control.
