Features and sounds
In addition to the coveted Octave Up and Octave Down shimmer effects, the Astral Destiny features a purereverb with great sound characteristics and extensive echoes with pitch bending, with the Length knob determining the decay time of the reverb tail. To further color the reverb sounds, the EQD Astral Destiny is equipped with a Depth- and Rate-adjustable Chorus effect that works on the reverb tail. In addition, the effect pedal offers a Stretch function that doubles the decay time and temporarily changes the pitch of the played tone to create expressive highlights. Last but not least, there is the possibility to use the Astral Destiny in buffered bypass mode with decaying reverb tails, or to switch to true bypass.
