The Epiphone Futura ES-355 Midnight Ember Shift at a glance
The Epiphone Futura ES-355 represents characterful semi-hollow sounds as part of Epiphone's Futura series. With its five-ply maple and poplar laminate body in combination with a solid center block, the model produces an airy, warm primary tone that is perfect for articulate cleans and expressive blues sounds, but also cuts a fine figure in a rock context. The sound of the ES-355 is particularly multi-faceted thanks to its extensive switching options: the push/pull function of the tone controls can be used to switch between a Coil-Split or a phase inversion. The Epiphone Futura ES-355 is completed by solid LockTone hardware, Grover tuners with locking function and a breathtaking Midnight Ember Shift finish, which shines in different shades depending on the incidence of light.
