150th Anniversary Epiphone Sheraton

On the occasion of the company's anniversary Epiphone shows that the Semi Hollow electric guitars from the traditional house can convince even after 150 years with optimal features and top-class tonal qualities. Thus, the limited Epiphone 150th Anniversary Sheraton Cherry presents itself in traditional composition of mahogany neck and a maple laminate soundbox, completed by Gibson Mini humbuckers with hand-processed Orange Drop capacitors. Of course, the Anniversary model also bears the iconic "Tree or Life" headstock and gold finish hardware.

The Gibson and Epiphone set-neck construction provides comfortable playing characteristics and gives the woods of the Semi-Hollow Sheraton further sustain.

Construction and tonewoods

The top, back and sides are made of a resonant maple laminate, and with multi-ply binding, two F-holes and the solid maple center block, they form the basis for the strong sound character of Epiphone's Semi Hollow Sheraton electric guitar. The glued mahogany neck offers familiar and comfortable playing characteristics with the SlimTaper 60s 'C' profile, which are emphasized by a soft Indian Laurel fingerboard. Over 22 frets provide ample room for wide licks with extensive bending, which also showcases the classic block inlays with triangle abalone.

The headstock of the Sheraton is adorned with the Epiphone "Tree of Life" symbol, which is a traditional identifying feature of the Sheraton, as are the block inlays with triangle abalone.

Gibson Mini humbucker and Gold Hardware

The lush design of the 150th Anniversary Shraton Cherry is reflected in its Hardware, which includes gold-finished Epiphone/Gibson appointments. Two Gibson-made mini humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions provide the Sheraton electric guitar's warm and full-bodied tone with hand-wired electrics and genuine Orange-Drop capacitors. Furthermore, a combination of Tremotone vibrato and Grover Rotomatic tuners provide tonal stability and smooth whammy arm movements.
