Erica Synths Sample Drum

Two-channel sample player

The Erica Synths Sample Drum is a two-channel sample player with an intuitive user interface and focus on live use. You can play samples on two tracks in parallel and edit them extensively. The module is also designed for recording samples, which are stored in memory as 48 KHz / 12 Bit WAV files. The included SD card contains a comprehensive sample package created by the producers Pitch Black, Nero Bellum, T.Raumschmiere, Otto von Schirach and Raitis AG.

Made for live use

For each slot, six knobs provide access to all parameters that fulfill different functions. There is also a virtual VCA with A/D envelope, real-time effects, three assignable CV inputs and a tuning function. Whether one-shots or loops, Sample Drum plays the file backwards or forwards as a 16-bit mono file, accepts new start and end points and set loop markers. The internal memory holds 32 MB, which corresponds to about five minutes of sample material in mono.
