The transparent, seamless shells of the Fame Acrylic Snare Drums are equipped with black "Tube Style" brackets and measures 14" in diameter and 5.5" deep. The cast hoops are also black. All materials are lined with rubber to protect the shell from damage. Additionally, this also improves the resonating characteristics of the shells.

For a budget snare drum it is exactly as I was expecting and ideal for my needs. Great product and value for money. Ariived within 4 days of placing the order.
Cast hoops and black hardware looks the business. Snare throw off does the job and adjusts well. Comes with Chinese Remos ..Ambassador Styley and I think would be fine for certain applications. I'm using it as an extra snare tuned low with a Remo tattoo Skyn. The cast shell is seamless and I think more than likely extruded rather than cast. All in all an excellent looking and sounding snare for the money
