With the Sub-15-A from the Challenger series,FAME Audio offers an enormous bass package with sufficient connection options for your concerts and events. The powerful 15" subwoofer can be used in a wide range of applications, as its 600 watt Class D power amplifier knows how to impress in any situation. The cones deliver a rich sound in the 35-150 Hz range and provide plenty of pressure. This makes the Sub15A ideal as a support for many tops.
An M20 thread is available for mounting so that other speakers can be positioned firmly above the woofer. Transportation is facilitated by 2 recessed handles and is quite easy thanks to the relatively low weight of 32.5 kg. Rubber feet provide the necessary protection against scratches and dents on the underside.
Finding the connection made easy
Fortunately, if you take a look at the back, every user, whether technician or layman, quickly realizes that there is not much to bolt on and turn. Intuitive working is therefore pre-programmed. The stereo input for XLR connections and the two stereo XLR outputs are available for selection. The main output also offers a crossover function that can be switched between 120 Hz and 80 Hz. Directly below this, 2 LEDs provide information about the status of the SUB15A, i.e. whether it is switched on or off and whether the internal limiter is working. Other useful functions are the 3 switches on the right-hand side, which allow the ground lift to be used, the frequency response to be changed by a slight bass boost and the Phase to be turned.
