The Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster Black at a glance:
With the Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster Black and the new Standard series, Fender is launching fresh electric guitar and electric bass models that are easy to play and also deliver the legendary Fender sound. The affordable instruments are not only ideal for beginners - professionals will also get their money's worth with the Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster. The instrument's unique acoustic/e-guitar design not only conveys the best of both worlds, but also provides additional flexibility for a versatile sound palette. The highlight of the Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster are two different pickup systems: on the one hand there is an in-house Fender Acoustasonic Shawbuckerpickup on the instrument, while on the other hand there is a Fishman transducer for the pure acoustic sound. The Nyatoh body in combination with a solid Sitka spruce top not only provides a robust construction - the natural body resonance also enables a great sound. To tune the sound, both pickup systems can be combined with each other via the blend control, allowing for versatile sound characters!
The Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster delivers unique sounds for an affordable price!
for a while I've been wanting an acoustic guitar that feels like an electric. I've never been a fan of acoustic guitars and their chunky necks and thick bodies. since finding a Kramer Ferrington was not in my cards I ended up getting this one, and oh boy.
acoustically wise I thought that the sound would be much thinner that it actually is, so that's a nice surprise. neck isn't chunky by any means but it feels fuller in the hand. must be the deep C shape. it's very, very well made. it's a bit darker than on the pic which is good. plugged in it sounds really good, (piezo and humbucker) and the blending knob is a nice feature to have. playability is really nice and I love how it feels in my hand. the strings are crazy stiff tho, I guess they are gauge 11. not bad but not my thing,
the guitar is virtually perfect, it just needs a lil setup as any other guitar, and it looks so freaking pretty, it is also crazy light. I would definitely recommend this guitar. freaking love it.
