For powerful sounds and a modern Strat feel, Fender introduces the Fender American Ultra Stratocaster HSS MN Ultraburst. Thanks to its revised body design, the American Ultra Stratocaster HSS now offers even greater playability and easier access to the highest positions of the fretboard, whose compound radius of 10 to 14 inches provides the right foundation for everything from classic chord playing to advanced lead techniques. Sound-wise, the Fender American Ultra Stratocaster HSS MN Ultraburst is equipped with two hot-wound Fender Ultra Noiseless Hot Single Coils in the neck and middle positions for juicy tones with unmistakable Strat character, while the Ultra Double Tap Humbucker, developed especially for the series, produces hot dual-coil sounds. The humbucker can be switched to double tap mode for clear single-coil sounds via the S-1 switch. This not only splits the pickup, but also adjusts the output to the other single coils, resulting in a well-balanced sound, especially in the intermediate positions.
