With the Fender Bassman series, Fender is launching a pedal series that is aimed specifically at bassists and offers some useful features for bass players. The Fender Bassman Compressor provides absolute control over the dynamic behavior of your own bass signal and should not be missing on any Pedalboard. Operation is extremely simple: two switches for ratio and Release each provide two selectable settings for crisp slaps or sustain-rich melodic runs, while the blend control mixes the compressed signal with the natural bass signal.
