The Fender Fat 50´s Stratocaster Pickups, Set of 3 deliver superb blues tones, enhanced bass response without the harsh mid-range.
The Fender Fat 50´s pickups have the sound of a '50s Strat, but with a little bit more attitude. The Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s calibrated pickups are constructed with hand beveled, staggered, Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar wire on the coils. The Fat '50s deliver enhanced bass response without the harsh mid-range. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity for hum canceling in positions 2 & 4. The blues never sounded so sweet. OEM on Custom Shop Showmaster Series Stratocasters.

The diferent is huge, i have a little bit of noise but i think that i have now a REAL pure strat sound, with bass and thick sound against noiseless pick ups.
Upgraded a Classic Vibe 50s (which I understand come with tonerider surfari pickups). The stock pickups were very nice but I wanted an extra few percent. These pickups do just that. It’s not a night and day difference, they are both good vintage 50s style pickups, but these do have an extra something that I love
