The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster MN Black is considered the very first signature guitar in the Fender range and has been manufactured unchanged with the specifications requested by Slowhand since the late 1980s. Accordingly, the electric guitar not only features the classic alder body and the one-piece maple neck with "Soft V" profile, but also Fender Vintage Noiseless Single Coil pickups, which together with the active mid-boost and the TBX Tone Control form the basis for Clapton's versatile blues sounds. In addition, the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster MN Black is equipped with the tried-and-tested Fender American Vintage tremolo and Fender American Vintage tuners.
Based on the classic Strat design of the 1950s, the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster features an alder body that nestles comfortably against the player thanks to the "Contour Body" lines and guarantees a high level of playing comfort. The four-bolt neck is also made in one piece from maple and, with its "Soft V" profile, offers optimum conditions for comfortable playability.
Three Fender Vintage Noiseless Single Coils are used as pickups on the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster. Thanks to the special design and the use of classic Alnico magnets, they deliver authentic single coil sounds with crystalline clarity and a lively response, without any unwanted background noise or hum. The pickups are managed as usual using a 5-way blade switch and master volume control.
The Fender Eric Clapton Strat also has particularly variable electronics, which can be used to realise versatile blues sounds. The centre "Tone" pot controls the intensity of the active mid-boost. With up to 25 dB level boost in the mid-frequency range, creamy lead sounds with increased assertiveness can be elicited from the guitar amplifier. The TBX Tone Control is also available. Starting from the neutral centre position, which is marked by a detent, it lowers the treble when turned down, while bass and treble can be emphasised when turned up.
Last but not least, the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster MN Black impresses with its high-quality hardware. Accordingly, the classic Fender American Vintage Synchronised Tremolo is used on the body, which, like Clapton's original, is fixed with a wooden block and thus enables a more direct sound transmission. In addition, Fender American Vintage tuners on the headstock guarantee stable and precise tuning.

This is my very first guitar, I have never played a guitar in my life.
I picked Fender as it has a long and significant history. I selected the Stratocaster as I just love the shape of it and I went with the Eric Clapton Artist Signature version as I have always appreciated his music.
It has been just over 3 weeks now and I have been following the Fender Play program and enjoying every movement so far.
There is a long road of learning ahead but I already know that this will not be my last guitar, but it will stay with me forever.
