Distortion effect pedal with extensive sound options and switchable boost
With the Fender Full Moon Distortion, Fender presents a High Gain Distortion effect pedal for electric guitar that leaves no brutal sound wish unfulfilled. The "Texture" switch controls the clipping mode and thus the basic sound character, while the 4-band tone control with "High Treble" control allows optimal tuning. In addition, the "Bite" switch can be used to emphasize the highs for a present attack and juicy chugs. Last but not least, there is a wide selectable boost which raises the signal by up to 12 dB and thus ensures increased assertiveness. The illuminated potentiometer caps, which make the pedal setting visible even on dark stages, also prove to be a useful detail solution.

Professional use on live gigs and studio. Very smooth Holdsworth like distortion sound with lots of tonal variations via very musical onboard eq. Previously owned mesa boogie flux five and couldn't get anywhere near a usable sound...traded in for full moon which was half the price and infinitely better....in my opnion. Going to buy another!
