The Japanese-built Hybrid II Strat skillfully combines the traditional FenderStyle with a showy handling that accommodates classic and modern techniques. With generous front and back comfort shaping, the alder "Contour Body" sits with perfect balance against the body. At the same time, the bolt-on maple neck in a modern C-profile with 9.5" fingerboard radius (241 mm) promises first-class playing characteristics up to the highest positions of the 22-fret maple fingerboard.
Three Hybrid II Strat single coils and a classic 5-way circuit promise a rich sound spectrum for almost any style of music.
Hybrid II Single Coils
Three Fender Hybrid II Custom Voiced Stratocaster Single Coils are used as pickups on the Made in Japan Hybrid II Strat. Available in the usual combinations via the 5-way switch, the pickups convince with a lively dynamic and a bell-like transparent sound, which is suitable for clean funk sounds and perfectly showcases the juicy crunch and overdrive tones of Blues and rock. To adjust the tone, in addition to the volume control, a tone pot for the neck pickup and common tone control for the middle and bridge pickup are available.
Locking tuners with vintage looks keep the Hybrid II Strat securely in tune even after frequent uses of the tremolo lever.
Hardware with classic look and modern function
Last but not least, Fender completes the Made in Japan Hybrid II Stratocaster MN Modena Red with high-quality hardware that combines traditional looks with high reliability.
