Staying true to the historic specifications of the iconic Telecaster, the body of the Fender Postmodern Tele Journeyman Relic uses two select pieces of solid ash. The wood is considered a resonant classic among tonewoods and impresses with its extremely lightweight. Of course, a Tele neck made of Quarter Sawn Maple should not be missing, which evokes the unmistakable feeling of typical Tele models of the era with its distinctive oval-C neck profile in the style of the sixties.
With extremely accomplished SH pickup equipment from the Fender Custom Shop and classic Tele appointments, the Fender Postmodern Tele Journeyman Relic MN Aged India Ivory #14765 is a true workhorse for stage and studio.
At the neck, the Fender Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker provides powerful dual-coil tones, while the hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster single coil at the bridge evokes the iconic Tele voice.

The pickup equipment of the Fender Postmodern Tele Journeyman Relic MN Aged India Ivory is composed of a hand-wound Loaded '51 Nocaster single coil pickup in bridge position and an additional Wide Range CuNiFe humbucker on the neck. The former provides the coveted Tele twang, while the humbucker adds warm and full tones to the sound. Other special features of the model include an angled pickup selector switch and a traditional tele-wiring with three switching positions.
Six vintage-style tuners contribute to the distinctive headstock silhouette of the classic Telecaster.
Authentic hardware equipment
To elicit the greatest possible resonance from the transition between strings and body, a Fender '58 - 63' Tele Bridge is used. The classic hardtail bridge follows the traditional construction principle and features three compensated RSD string saddles made of brass, which grant each string the best possible intonation. furthermore, the Fender Postmodern Tele Journeyman Relic MN Aged India Ivory features six vintage-style tuners, a Wing String Tree and a bone nut with 41.9 mm width.
