Plenty of space for big ideas

The FenderQuantum LT 16 is a USB C audio interface for anyone who doesn't just want to record one song, but an entire band, a drum set with lots of microphones or a hybrid setup consisting of Hardware and DAW. With 16 inputs and 8 outputs, the interface is clearly aimed at ambitious studios, rehearsal rooms with recording requirements and producers who like to have everything wired up at the same time. It's all about overview, sound quality and a workflow that doesn't slow you down, but keeps you going.

Eight preamps that take even quiet sources seriously

At the center are eight newly developed MAX HD microphone preamps. With up to 75 dB gain, they are also ideally equipped for dynamic microphones and quiet signals. Vocals, acoustic guitars, overheads or complex multi-microphone setups can be captured cleanly and in great detail without reaching the gain limit. The sound remains open, controlled and pleasantly neutral, exactly what you want as a basis for later processing.

More than enough inputs for real studio life

In addition to the microphone inputs, the Quantum LT 16 offers a total of 14 analog line inputs. Synthesizers, Drum machines, external Preamps or a small mixing console can be permanently connected without having to constantly reconnect them. The mix of combo sockets on the front and TRS line inputs on the rear with switchable +4 dBu or -10 dBV level is particularly practical. In addition, there are two dedicated instrument inputs for guitar and bass on the front. The high-impedance DI inputs are directly matched to the MAX HD preamp and also pick up passive pickups cleanly and dynamically, without the need for an additional DI box.

Standalone operation for hybrid setups

The interface can do more than just USB audio. In Mic Pre mode, the Quantum LT 16 works as a standalone 8-channel microphone preamp without the need for a computer. Ideal for hybrid rigs, Live recording or as an extension to an existing audio interface. There is also a mixer mode that allows the device to be used as a digital mixer even without a DAW. This is a real plus, especially for rehearsal rooms or permanent installations.

CV, MIDI and loopback without additional devices

With DC-coupled line outputs, the Quantum LT 16 builds a bridge to the modular world. Control voltages can be sent directly from the DAW to analog synthesizers. There is also classic 5-pin MIDI I/O for keyboards, drum machines and sequencers. Loopback audio is also on board for streaming, content creation or recording tutorials, neatly integrated and without external software solutions.
