The Flame Sidechainer is a straightforward stereo VCA designed for creating ducking effects. The effect is similar to a radio broadcast, where the music is lowered whenever the announcer speaks. With the Sidechainer, this suppression is controlled via the trigger input and the Shape and Intensity controls. The effect is especially pronounced when processing dense, atmospheric sound clusters rhythmically or with specifically configured triggers. The voltage generated at the trigger input is also available at a CV output socket.
