The Gibson 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS Iced Tea Burst is authentic to the smallest details reissue of the electric guitar that marks the last vintage of the legendary Holy Grails. Accordingly, the electric guitar features historically accurate appointments and construction features for a premium feel and vibrant sounds of Blues and rock. While the one-piece mahogany body carries a chic flamed maple top, the set mahogany neck features long-neck tenon and an Indian rosewood fretboard. The historically correct "Slim Taper" profile guarantees extremely comfortable playing characteristics. The authentic PAF character in the sound is provided by Gibson Custombucker pickups with Alnico III magnets and a hand-wired circuit with oil paper capacitors. Accordingly, all wood joints are made with Hide-Glue, which guarantees optimal sound development throughout the entire instrument due to its glassy consistency. While the one-piece mahogany body bears a chic curly maple top, the one-piece mahogany neck is glued with sustain-enhancing Long Neck Tenon. The slim, authentic "Slim Taper" neck profile furthermore offers best playing characteristics over the entire rosewood fingerboard.
