The construction of the Gibson ES-275 Figured follows the desire of many guitarists for Jazz an electric guitar that combines traditional sound with comfortable handling. Accordingly, the body is much more compact compared to corresponding models, but the Hollow Body construction with 3-layer maple/poplar laminate provides a warm, resonant basic sound. The n Les Paul eck profile also contributes to comfortable handling, while 22 frets significantly extend the range.

The Gibson ES-275 Figured Memphis Historic Spec (MHS) Humbucker uses pickups that convince with their authentic Vintage sound. With playful dynamics, the pickups transmit the resonant basic sound of the Jazz guitar to the amplifier and with their transparent sound spectrum they clearly remind us of the historical PAFs from the golden era of guitar building. The pickups are controlled via the classic circuit with 3-way toggle switches as well as individual volume and tone controls, which can be used to call up a wide range of first-class timbres.
