Classic semi-hollow body and high playing comfort

The design of the Gibson ES-335 Faded Lightburst follows the principle proven since 1958. For example, the top, back and sides and three-layer maple/poplar laminate are used, while the solid centre block is made of maple. Accordingly, the Gibson ES-335 has that warm, resonant basic sound for which the model is particularly appreciated in blues and rock. The one-piece mahogany neck lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the "Rounded C" profile and allows any reef and lick to slip easily out of your hand.

Burstbucker for classic sound

With a Burstbucker 1 on the neck and a Burstbucker 2 on the bridge, the Gibson ES-335 Faded Lightburst delivers classic humbucker sounds. With their airy dynamics, the pickups capture the warm acoustic timbre of the semi-hollow and transport it to the amplifier with transparent highs and sweet mids. The proven circuitry, which includes a 3-way toggle as well as individual volume and tone controls, allows different sound nuances to be precisely adjusted.
