The Bigsby VOS Gibson ES-355 Vintage Ebony is the top-of-the-line model among the legendary "Electric Spanish " guitars of the long-established American company and convinces accordingly not only with elegant Custom appointments, but also with first-class blues, Jazz - and Rock -sounds. The proven construction with a body made of the traditional maple poplar laminate and a glued mahogany neck with Richlite fingerboard is used Gibson here. With two '57 Gibson Classic Humbucker the noble semi-acoustic electric guitar delivers authentic Vintage sounds at the amplifier. Last but not least, it Gibson ES-355 is equipped with one Bigsby Vibrato for dazzling pitch modulations.
Following the traditional "Electric Spanish " design, the Gibson ES-355 Bigsby VOS has a body with back, top and sides made of a three-layer maple poplar laminate that enriches the sound with a woody resonance color, while the massive center block prevents feedback. The glued mahogany neck with the " Traditional C" profile also lies comfortably in the hand, so that on the Richlite fingerboard with precious mother-of-pearl inlays every note goes out of the fingers as if by itself.
Two Gibson '57 Classic Humbucker pickups are used on the Gibson ES-355 Bigsby VOS Vintage Ebony , whose Gold caps underline the noble claim of the electric guitar. As descendants of the legendary PAF Humbucker of the golden 1950s, these Alnico 2-pickups deliver a warm Vintage sound on the amplifier that skilfully reproduces the resonance of the semi-acoustic construction, Rock creating the perfect foundation for classic blues Jazz . The pickups are managed via a 3-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone controls.
Last but not least, the Gibson ES-355 Bigsby VOS Vintage Ebony convinces with its high-quality Hardware equipment, whose chic Gold finish blends perfectly into the elegant design. On the body, the strings are accordingly played by an Bigsby B-7 Vibrato with which dazzling pitch modulations can be produced to decorate melodies or chords. From here, the strings are played via the proven Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic before they meet the precisely acting Grover Milk Bottle Rotomatics at the head plate.
