The design of the Gibson ES-Les Paul Studio is based on the most legendary of all electric guitars, but the use of the classic ES construction method has brought about a drastic acoustic change. With a three-layer maple laminate back, top and sides and the solid maple center block, this guitar delivers a warm basic sound with a distinctive acoustic timbre. The one-piece mahogany neck with "Rounded C" profile offers a pleasant playability for classical and modern techniques.

Humbucker sounds between vintage and modern

The Gibson ES-Les Paul Studio uses a '57 Classic on the neck and a Super '57 Classic on the bridge. These humbuckers cannot deny their relationship to the legendary PAFs, but deliver a slightly modernized sound spectrum that transmits the acoustic timbre to the amplifier with precise definition and organic dynamics. The proven circuit with individual volume and tone controls for each pickup allows a wide range of different sound nuances to be called up.
