With the Godin Montreal Premiere A/E Indigo Blue, the Canadian tradition company presents a versatile semi-acoustic electric guitar that combines electric and acoustic sound worlds. Made in Canada, the electric guitar has a body made of wild cherry wood with a "Breathe-Through" center block and a glued maple neck. While two Seymour Duncan pickups provide first-class clean and overdrive sounds between blues, jazz and rock, the L.R. Baggs Piezo system delivers authentic acoustic sounds. Last but not least, the Godin Montreal Premiere A/E Indigo Blue features the proven combination of Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece and precision tuners.

For the Godin Montreal Premiere A/E Indigo Blue, Godin relies on classic semi-hollow construction and Canadian woods. Accordingly, the back, top and sides of the body are made of Canadian wild cherry wood, which in combination with a "Breathe-Through" center block made of spruce promises a lively acoustic timbre in the sound. The Silver Leaf Maple glued neck is extremely comfortable to hold, thanks to the non overpowering profile, so every note on the Richlite fretboard goes right out of your fingers.

With magnetic pickups and Seymour Duncan and an L.R. Baggs piezo system, the Godin Montreal Premiere delivers a versatile guitar sound.

Pickup equipment from Seymour Duncan and L.R. Baggs

With traditional magnetic pickups from Seymour Duncan and an additional piezo system, the Godin Montreal Premiere A/E Indigo Blue skilfully covers both electrical and acoustic sound worlds. The Seymour Duncan Custom Alnico II Humbucker delivers a warm tone with a rich midrange spectrum and sweet highs, while the Seymour Duncan Jazz delivers a glassy sound with tight bass at the neck thanks to the Alnico V magnet. An L.R. Baggs piezo pickup system with Control-X preamp also delivers authentic acoustic guitar sounds with vibrant dynamics that can be used individually or mixed with the magnet pickups.

Godin tuners with different ratios for bass and treble strings guarantee an exact and stable tuning.

Last but not least, the Godin Montreal Premiere A/E Indigo Blue convinces with high-quality and indestructible hardware equipment. The GraphTech Resomax Tailpiece guides the strings on the body over the L.R. Baggs T-Bridge, which houses the piezo elements in its riders and also guarantees optimum adjustment of intonation and string position. Behind the GraphTech saddle, Godin tuners with transmission ratios adapted to the bass and treble strings on the headstock ensure precise and stable tuning.
