The laminated Canadian wild cherry body gives the Godin Montreal Premiere Bigsby Sunburst Highgloss a warm sound with resonant response supported by the unique "Breathe-Through" center block. This is carved from spruce and has an aqueduct-like structure that results in a smaller contact area with the ceiling, so that it can swing more freely than with conventional constructions without being carried away by feedback.

These double spools convince with their open, airy sound, whereby the neck pickup sings with warm voice, while its counterpart at the bridge works with harmonic assertiveness.
