The Gretsch G2655TG Streamliner Center Block Jr Double-Cut Bigsby Vintage White is a practical semi-acoustic electric guitar with comfortable handling and a wide sound spectrum between Blues and rock. The compact semi-hollow body with solidcenter block, together with the Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups, promises a warm and woody sound character for characterful clean and overdrive sounds, while the Bigsby Vibratoadds shimmering embellishments. The set Nato neckin the soft 'C' profile also promises comfortable playing characteristics right up to the highest registers.
Both sonically and visually, the Gretsch G2655TG Streamliner CB Jr in Vintage White offers an absolute vintage feeling.
Thanks to the soft 'C' profile, which is not too strong, the glued Nato neck offers comfortable playability in all positions of the 22-fret Indian Laurel fingerboard.
Semi-hollow guitar with a handy body
The Gretsch G2655TG Streamliner Jr pays particular attention to comfortable playing characteristics without denying the typical sound characteristics. With its compact dimensions, the semi-acousticbody promises optimum, problem-free handling both on the strap and on the thigh. The classic construction with top, back and sides made of laminated maple and a solid spruce center block also promises a resonant sound that is not prone to feedback even at high volumes.
The coil split function of the push/pull tone control can be used to elicit dazzling single-coil sounds from the semi-hollow guitar.
Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups with flexible switching
Gretsch chooses two in-house Broad'Tron BT-3S humbuckers as pickups. The pickups, which are perfectly matched to the semi-hollow construction, promise a surprisingly powerful sound that skillfully captures the pleasantly woody timbre of the guitar and is suitable for full clean sounds as well as juicy shredding Overdrive. Gretsch also equips the electric guitar with a flexible 3-way circuit that features separate volume controls for each pickup as well as a Master-Volume and a treble control.

Received the guitar about 4 days after ordering, well packaged so for it not to be damaged, which it wasn’t. Received the Carry case a few days later. Perfectly happy with the order and the guitar. It’s well manufactured and feels, looks and plays just great.

Gretsch's roots in brighter tones are clear here even though the guitar performs at its best with high gain. Perfect for punk rock/ alternative and a myriad of genres.

It took me a month to get this due to Brexit delays but it was worth it, the guitar is beautifully built and sounds great. I never thought I would own a Gretsch but for this price its amazing. The only down side i would say on this guitar is the master volume , its either all or nothing , the volume doesn’t come in until its almost full on. Ill probably change that at a later date. The rest is perfect, all I had to do was tune it. It was set up quite low but can go lower if you want ,and the intonation was already perfect , so just plug it in and play it.
