16" body with Arc-Tone bracing
The 16" and 2.5" deep semi-resonant body of the Nashville Hollow Body with String-Thru Bigsby is made of maple laminate according to the classic recipe, remaining true to the basic tonal character of classic Gretsch instruments. Thanks to innovative 'Arc-Tone' bracing, the arched top with its eye-catching F-holes is particularly vibrant and resonant. The traditional standard U-profilemaple neck, which is finished with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard, ensures tried-and-tested playability.
Gretsch PRO-FT Filter'Tron pickups
The two Gretsch PRO-FT Filter'Tron pickups installed in the neck and bridge position of the Gretsch Nashville Hollow Body are particularly popular among country pickers and rockabilly fans and cover a wide sound spectrum from clearly defined cleans to expressive rock sounds. The two double coilers with the famous semi-open gold cover can be adjusted using the tried-and-tested Gretsch wiring, which consists of separate volume controls as well as a master Volume with 'treble bleed' circuit and a no-load tone pot with "squeezebox" capacitor.
Bigsby String-Thru Vibrato & Gotoh Locking Tuners
The hardware equipment of the Gretsch Nashville Hollow Body is made up of high-quality parts from renowned manufacturers and is completely finished in an elegant gold look. In contrast to conventional Bigsby vibratos, the String-Thru Bigsby B6GP vibrato offers a practical string guide through the axle, making string changes particularly easy and optimizing the efficiency of the vibrato. On the headstock, six Gotoh tuners with locking functions provide additional tuning stability, while the two Grover strap locks ensure safe stage performances on the strap.
